The history of Interhotel Central dates back to the end of the 19th century. For a long time, the hotel served as a luxurious hotel to high-class Germans. After the World War II, it maintained its position on the German market, as well as it became popular in the former Soviet Union. After 1990, the hotel changed to an internationally acclaimed spa with its own balneotherapy centre. For the spa procedures, the hotel uses the thermal mineral waters of Karlovy Vary, certified by N 17 certificate which is located on the façade of the hotel.
The history of the Interhotel Central dates back over 100 years. It is located in the very heart of the Karlovy Vary spa zone, next to the Municipal Theatre on Divadelní náměstí.
